Noche de Cuentos / A Night of Stories is a REFORMA family literacy initiative celebrated all year round, and especially during the week of the Spring equinox, March 18-25, in conjunction with World Storytelling Day.

REFORMA, the National Association to Promote Library & Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking believes that storytelling and the oral traditions are key to the transmission and preservation of culture, as well as a significant tool in developing literacy skills.

We invite you to use this site to develop a Noche de Cuentos program in your community.
